Mods, if I have this post in the wrong area please move it to the correct one. I wasn't sure where to put it.
Hi,
I am only looking for info on the AIO tanks that people bring to their frag swaps/sales to sell their corals or small tanks with the dimensions close to what I am looking for. I am thinking of having an acrylic one made with the dimensions of + or - 24 x 18 x 10. This is mostly going to be made to take my frags to swaps and I will also use it occasionally as a quarantine tank for new corals.
I can't decide if I want a black bottom or not. I have a frag tank (48 x 20 x 10) that I had made a while back that I have no plans of setting up again as it is to large for what I want now. It has a clear bottom which I like for a regular frag tank. I think pests are easier to see on a clear bottom. I know white would be the best to see pests, but I don't want a white bottom.
I am thinking of ordering a clear bottom and also ordering a thin sheet of black acrylic to slide under it for the swaps. I think the black makes the colors pop more. Would it be noticeable if I slid the black acrylic under it or would it look like it was made with a black bottom?
Also, can't decide on what type of AIO filter chamber configuration that I want. I might just order a tank and do the filter chamber myself later on.
Pictures of your tanks and filter chambers would really be great.
Thanks
