ok guys i have a 12 gal aqua pod with the stock hood and i dont want to up gread my light so i am stuck with it i want to know if it has worked for any one and in what chamber its in ect i am asking cause i have read alot of bad reviews on it but then again it is diffrent for any one else if any one can come up with a better skimmer for my tank please let me know just remeber that i dont want to mod anything

That was a long sentence.

Well, I've never had one, most people haven't. Most haven't because those who have are absolutely adamant about its uselessness.

I've yet to hear one person say that it works at all.

I have Tunze Nano DOC. It's more expensive, but works and is compact. There a few others, I'm sure someone else will recommend.

yeah i know it was a long sentence im not tHAT GOOD A TYPING SO I TRY NOT TO WORRY ABOUT IT BUT I THINK I GET MY POINTE ACROSS

Mine is horrible. It didn't survive long on my tank before it went back in the drawer. A lot of the usual skimmer issues - too many micro bubbles and difficult to adjust but multiply this by a few times. Best luck.

I have a sapphire skimmer on my biocube 29. Works great but I do have some trouble with micro bubbles, but this may also be because of anothe mod I did.

fussion nano skimmer is by far the most worthless thing i have ever bought for any of my tanks. I havent even seen anyone successfully modify one to work properly. Just save up the cash and get a Tunze or Saphire. I cant even use the powerhead from the fusion in my 3 gallon pico its so weak.

BUT I THINK I GET MY POINTE ACROSS

barely....

learning to communicate well is always worth the effort!

I got mine to work, but had to lower my water level too low to get it to clear the hood. I'd rather do more frequent water changes.
