I just got a TDS meter and I was wondering what others tap water TDS reading is?

My tapwater starts out at very close to 100 +/- 5

It reads 002 or 003 after the RO/DI process.

How bout your tapwater?

mine starts out at about 300-350 ppm (well water) after the RO/DI it's about 15-20 ppm currently ... but that's because i need to change my filters =)

tap-135
after ro-6
output-0

Used to live in St. louis(metro east, technically)-loved it. Worked in the City and south county.

Ive been wondering if my TDS is correct, when i turn the facuet on its at like 25 but after about 10 minutes it shows that the incoming water is 0 TDS all my RODI comes out 0. I cant imagine any city water is 0 TDS

I live in an apt building in westchester NY, maybe the apt complex has some sort of water filter. It uses old school steam heat to heat the apts .

i would suggest getting a tds meter calibration fluid and calibrating your meter. if, after that, it still comes up 0, then that my friend is awesome.

mine goes from 20 to 200,most days its around 45 . i have been told by many that a tds reading under 250 is "great" for drinking
