i had this nice piece of rock with 40+ heads of long lash eagle eyes. now, after some type of algae or some infestion i am left with 6 heads left. i am so ****ed. it also hit my other zoa's in the tank. my parameters have all been below spec except i had a small alk swing that shrunk up my zoa's but after that they really shrunk up tighter than normal and they got a little reddish brown crap on them then they started to die and fall off the rock and frags. can anyone tell me what the culprit is or was? all i got now is this sorta brown stringy slime that
comes daily and i use a turkey baster to blow it off my frags and rocks.
here are some before and after picks of the long lash eagle colony that i lost.
