what kind is this?

Does anybody know what kind of macroalgee this is?
Is it good? for removing nitrates?

Looks like a calupra species. Can grow up to 3 inches a day in the wild. Great for sucking up nutrients, but can be very invasive if it finds a way into your main display.

I would not recommend it in a display. A friend of mine let it go crazy, and it covered everything in his tank. I would go with Cheatomorpha (sp?)
