Thanks, just doing some research now before I buy. I've currently got 2 clowns, 4 chromis, and numerous peppermint shrimps. Would this harm them? I keep reading conflicting views on the internet? It's a pretty large anemone.

I think you might be happier with a Bubble Tip Anemone, if you are getting one. Just my opinion. Its possible the peppermint shrimp could get eaten. Anemone are fairly hard to keep in comparison to like a hairy mushroom or something else. So if you are just starting out (not sure this is the case or not), you might want to hold off on a Anemone. Have fun and good luck!

Condylactis is not a host anemone, so if you're looking for a host for your clowns, this will not work. They also have a tendency of not staying put no matter how happy they are so can cause destruction in their path. Being sucked into powerheads is also a higher risk.

So I bought a Condy while under the impression that it was a LTA. Its in my tank and looking good and happy, but I'm not happy that I pretty much got lied to by my LFS. Does ANYONE like Condys? Is there ANY use for them? I've got two Peppermint shrimp and two Ocelarus Clowns, and they haven't been eaten... yet...
