What kind of anemone to get?

Hi,

My wife wants to add an anemone to our tank but not sure which one. Our tank has been up and running for about 3 years now. We currently have a small (about the size of a half dollar) RBTA in the tank. and would like to add another nem.

Our tank is a 46 gallon bowfront with 192 watts of PC.

What type of anemone would work in this type of lighting setup?

Thanks

just feed the bta every week, it will grow big and/or split many times. that little bta will eventualy demand alot of space for it and its clones.

if you choose to buy another anemone, make sure it isnt pure white. im sure you already knew that, but its good advise anyways.

i personaly like my flower anemone, cheap too. clowns dont host them though and if it isnt happy it can move around. right now the flower anemone is what everyone looks at in my tank.

Why not white anemone

Why not white anemone

I am new to this. I came across with the discussion posted in this tread and i am just wondering why "make sure it is not white". My wife and I are just hinking to get a long tentacle white anemone for our three little clown fish.

Thank you very much and happy holidays!

White usually means bleached, not necessarily very healthy. Then when they get their natural color(sometimes brown) people are disappointed. Check out the anemone facts at the top.
