What kind of Cleaner crew is good with SPS corals??

I have done soft corals for a long time now. I got a HQI and it has been set up for 3 months now. About 2 weeks ago I added 2 SPS and 1 LPS and a happy fish. I have a birds nest and somthing else my kids tore up my paper that had the names on it. a Candy cane coral A Harlequin Basslet.
Big question what kind of cleaner crew will be good with the SPS and the basslet. I know the Basslet will eat shrimp and will leave snails alone but turbo snails are bulldosers from hell. Is there certain crabs and such that will rip up the SPS? What kind of Inverts will leave the SPS alone and not be food for the Basslet?

Another question if you could tell me the names of both my sps???

Another question the SPS came on the plugs i have tried to set them in a good spot but i can not get them to stick in there in a good solid spot. Any suggestions? I have done a tone of research for the past 3 years prior to getting into this. I read that once you get them in a spot leave them there. That ture?

Will the Basslet eat the Emeral crabs and hermits? I only want to have just the one fish and what i put in there i want to make sure that it doesnt mess with my future clam.

It'll go for shrimps but not sure about crabs. Crabs do have thicker exoskeleton compared to shrimps and they'll often hide in holes and come out at night to scavenge.

I've a clam in my tank and none of my cleaner shrimps, hermit crabs and emerald crabs touched it at all.

They'll only scavenge on dead animals, including clams.

so they leave the SPS corals alone? I jus dont want to find my self adding somthing that cause me problems. I cant seem to find anything that says yes and says no. better to ask people to have them.

Can't tell if you have red bug. You need macro close ups.
Red bug infect spas across. They are tiny and can be seen scooting across the acro skin. Sometimes the rb can cause the polyps not to be extended. Most would treat with dog heart worm meeds.

I would advise staying away from turbo snails, I have tried them in the past and they are like little bulldozers knocking everything over.

I go mostly snails, ie banded trochus, nassarius, nerite, cerith plus specific crabs which can eat cyano and diatoms like calcinus elegans

So I was thinking after reading everyones Ideas. 2 emeral crabs about 5 hermits and some nassarius snails with a couple bumble bee snails? All of them good with SPS? Turbo snails **** me off more than anything. They have done nothing but nock stuff over for me. The larg tank they can try but nothing is going to move but this tank they will make a mess.

WHAT? what red bugs...what?

Red bugs infest mostly smooth skin acros. From what I read, it is very hard to never get a red bug infestation. Your best bet is to quarantine for maybe 6 weeks to make sure, but even then it isn't 100%. They are treated with Interceptor, which can be fatal to Hermit crabs. So it is recommended you take them out before the treatment. My point of view now is to not put them in to begin with.

I would be careful with emeralds I just took two that looked like hercules out if my tank that were eating my zoas and some new frags I put into my tank

Stay away from emerald crabs. I saw a video on here of an emerald crab eating an arco, I mean really doing some damage. I like the smaller snails so they dont knock stuff over, tangs are great, hermits, I also keep a six line wrasse to eat any flatworms and red bugs that may come in. A six line is in no way a way to prevent or cure red bugs but they may eat some. Always dip new corals at a minimum, QT is best. Rde bugs are not fun to deal with trust me on this one.

I have an emeral crab in my 29 Bio has some poylps and mushrooms and a flower pot. He never touches a single thing. I feed the crab every other night i give him some crap or shrimp or scalops. I give the anem some food then i give the crab some. Keeps im happy and good. It is cool i use the twizers and he takes it off and eats.
FYI i do not have RED BUGS but thanks for all of the info. So you guys put all of your new SPS in a QT tank prior to adding it to your tank?
