what kind of sand for a rock wall?

what kind of sand should i use for a foam rock wall? i was told by a friend i could use playground sand from home depot. i know what kind of foam to use and z-poxy,using macro dry rock,and light defuser. need to know what kind of sand!

kevin, there was a test you could do using vinager... If you put some of the playground sand in a vile w/ vinager and it bubbles it was ok no bubbles dont use it...
Just make sure its argonite sand .. I tried to find it here in buffalo at lowes and no bubbles soooo... never tried HD though

aggregate sand should work

HD's high desert play sand by pavestone. 99% or more ca carbonate. if i were to cut costs and use play sand, this would be my choice.

These foam walls look so cool in pictures, but is there a down side to them? Do they hold up over the long run? If so, why dont more people use them?
