Hey guys, we have a 65G tank, with current usa 4x54W t5's, we have 40x turn over i the tank, we also have a 30G sump with skimmer and chaeto.

This is our first saltwater tank and has only been set up for 2 months. What are some easy beginer corals to start with that will thrive under our system???

Thanks!!

I would start simple like a lobo grain,or trumpet coral.Although as long as your water params are good,Hammer,& Frogspawn corals are fairly easy to keep.

Hammer and frogspawn are two of my favorites. Candycanes come in close behind them and all three are "easy" to keep. None require feeding, but the candycanes tend to grow faster when fed.

Trumpet/Candy Cane or Frogspawn/Hammer/Torch. I had them for my first LPS and they grow pretty fast.

Candycanes were my first hard corals. But my frag never did well & passed away. Bad luck I guess.
2nd Lobophyllias. Scolys are nice. Bubbles are really cool but mine is very large for my 36gal bowfront. Fox or Jasmine corals (forget the generic name..Darn!). Small bubble (pearl coral) would be good IMO.
Good luck!

Matthew
