what lighting

i have room for 2 40 watt floressent bulbs i will only have a few softies and gorgonians. what 2 bulbs should i get bar none

What size tank? And what are the dimensions. I would look at getting some T5's or VHO's if your wanting to keep some softies

I have had some success with mushrooms with one 40w 10,000k bulb and one 40w acetic blue light. Depending on the depth of your tank though I would be carful what softies you get. Some need lots of light. Mushroom might be a good way to go. I use coralife bulbs and they seem to be fine.

its a 55 that i am making a seahorse tank out of i plan on beefing up the lighting later when i can afford the good stuff

you might want to save up and get a nice light

i have a 20g w/ 280 watts..2 65w antinics and a 150w MH

love it and so does the coral

phenix is a good brand of light though
