what makes'em swell

I see everyones zoos are really tight, and bright. Mine usually loose color and swell into dime size (or less). and they are extended out. How does one achieve that compactness and consistent cover and color.

250w 14000k hqi phoenix. I don't have these directly under them though.

you could try moving it and see how it does in a week or two, How are your nutrient levels? Do you have a pic? Hopefully one of the pros will step in and help out.

well, it's not much of a problem. Just an aesthetic thing. They propogate nicely. Also, they are already on some big LR (cant easily move them.)

I was wondering something similar. I see a lot of zoos looking like tight carpet, and mine look randomly placed, some here some there.
