What needs to be done around here?

Thought this would be an interesting thread: All the things you need to/want to do to your tank(s) but haven’t gotten around to yet.

I’ll start cause boy its been bothering me. I really need to start taking 1 day off per week just to address all these issues aside from all the other “home” issues.

1. 10 gallon nano. Build my lighting fixture that I bought
the stuff for over 6 months ago but haven’t yet.
Water change
Clean off coralline from glass.

2. 120 gallon FOWLR. Buy some new bulbs
Water change
Buy those floating magnets so I can glue my maximods
to them so they don’t keep falling off and blowing sand.
Fix noisy plumbing
Convert half of sump to refugium to grow chaeto
Build in a RDSB


3. 29 gallon nano.
RED BUG TREATMENT!!!

4. 29 gallon QT.
Water change

5. 20 gallon QT. .
Water change

6. 50 gallon tub of LR
take it all outside and pressure wash all that nasty
invasive algae that’s on it and let the crud DIE DIE DIE!

7. Build my son’s stand for his 29 gallon FW tank.
8. Add a sink to my basement so I don’t need to keep
hauling buckets upstairs to the bathroom.
9. Build one of those cool water change setups like
ChiroCato and Kelley MC did.
10. Make some fish food that will last more than 1 week.
11. I’m sure there’s more, but this thread will get too long.

Let’s hear all the stuff that needs to get done around here. (fish related) Well, I guess you can open it up to everything since it affects when that fish stuff gets done.

1) build an acrylic overflow to get some protein off the surface
2) buy a MJ 600 to increase flow to fuge
3) kill some GSP that found its way to the SPS side
4) buy more SPS

3) Move my hammers so they aren't obstructed by my other LPS

Here I go.

1. Find the strainer for my skimmer intake
2. Do my bi-annual sump cleaning (spring time)
3. Do my tri-annual 40 gallon waterchange on my 120
4. Pull the UV apart and clean it.
5. Buy new clip on fan for the top of the tank.

1. Monday I'm taking off the canopy and installing new QUIET fans. The wife has been bugging me for months.

2. Cleaning salt spray off the T5 reflectors.

-figure a way to rearrange my lights on canopy to add lights

6. Replace one heater for a fan to cool my sump.
