what paint to paint garage

i'm putting a load of tanks in the garage and i want to paint the garage, it's need s painting anyway but i want to use something thats going to keep it safe from moisture and salt.
Also going to paint the floor, should i just use garage floor paint or something else?

A quality exterior paint has additives to fight mildew. However they also off gas pretty badly while drying. Since it's a garage at least you can air it out.

I'd recommend you go to a real paint store (as opposed to a big box home store) and get their suggestions.

Where the tanks are going to be I would recommend some epoxy paint. You can do the entire garage, but it not cheap. Best stuff there is. You will just need to weigh the cost vs benefit.
