right now i have a mj1200 for circulation in my tank. it is 20dx20lx24h. should i stay with my one mj1200 or get a second or go with a hydor ph? i just don't want something to cause a sandstorm by being too powerful. i do love how the hydors have the magnet so that there's no need for cords in the water. please give suggestions. it is a 37g, so i am not sure whether to step up circulation or keep what i have since my corals seem to be very happy.

Yea, get some more flow for sure. I just bought a new 6045 Tunze nano stream for my 37 and its perfect.

It would be perfect. I have a 6025 and a 6045 in my 37 now and its just the right amount of flow. I just got the 6045 today from Phishy for $96 and he still has another one in stock. Heck, you could even go with a 6025 and be fine. There's really not much of a difference in flow between the two.

oh, you finally got yours filled up, andrew? i need to see some pics of it! so the 6025 would be fine? would that one be enough or would i need to keep my mj1200 in there also?

Yea, its 2 days old now. The 6025 will work but no one that I know of has them in stock right now. I believe the next batch should arrive in 2 weeks or so.

Also, Phishy Business in Columbus is going to 20% off of all livestock on April 28th and 29th. Good time to get some frags. :D

No, to tell you the truth the flow from the 6025 and 6045 are about the same if you fell them in the water. The 6025 is around 660gph I believe and the 6045 is listed as 1,100gph or so.

Ok, here's a picture right before I filled it up cause I can't take any good pictures tonight for some reason.

well if i do decide to go with tunze i may wait the extra week or 2 and get the 6025 and save the 20 bucks. on the other hand, are the hydor koralia 4s worth the money? it does 1200 gph and it's only i think $59. i just haven't read much experience with them so i wasn't sure.

Yea, from what I have read they have been selling and doing pretty good but there was a recall I believe on a few but thats bound to happen.

so going with the tunze 6045 nanostream, there wouldn't be too much flow in my tank for my softies? i only have a few lps and a clam and some softies. i just want to make sure that it won't be overkill for them. their polyps seem to be out a lot at night and some during the day. i mean it really looks like they are happy with the flow i have now. i just really want to make sure that the flow would benefit them before i shell out the money.

with my mag7 as a return with the headloss calculated, if i get the tunze 6045 i will have a total of 41x turnover.
