what is the most turnover that would become less beneficial? is there a max to turnover rate?

It's hard to have too much flow, imo. The only issues you run into are disturbing the sandbed and irritating some corals. 41x turover is totally fine for an sps dedicated bb tank, imo. For softies and lps, you might have to fidget with placement but will probably be ok.

Sweet. Just be careful getting the magnets and swivel arm out or the clips will break.
