what Powerheads do you use?

I've used VorTech's for years and have zero complaints. I have Jebao's in the closet as back up. As with most in life, you get what you pay for!

Cuzza that was not directed at you. What I was trying to do was stop the debate of which is better before it even started. We all have had this debate over and over and over again. I just didnt want to do it again so no it wasnt at you

I run a Jebao wp 25 and a Tunze 6025 in my 90 G. they work great together. I'm going to check out the newest RW Jebao's and their redesign for wider flow pattern. I find the secret with any powerhead is to keep the rotor's and impeller's clean. :fish1:

I used to run two MP10s in my 75, but I switched to the 120 and now run two RW-8s. The quality definitely isn't there, but I could literally buy 4 of these RW8 pumps for the price of one MP10. I would have upgraded to two MP40s, but at almost $400 a pop, it's a little hard to justify. The RWs work very well and have a few nice settings, but obviously not as many functions and 'nifty' features as the MP line.

You get what you pay for, but if you understand that, the bottom line is they both do what they are designed to do. Move water.

Right on. Unfortunately it's just the nature of message boards. New members come in and older members have already hashed it out. I'd venture to say that 90% of what is posted here is the same topics regurgitated.

If you hook them up to an Apex you can get them to do just about anything. Accept have a setting between 1-29% ;-)
