Hi Folks,
Setting up a 37 column tank for seahorses and I'll be running a Current USA chiller. I'm about to order the chiller and supplies but wondering about the pump.
I'll have max of 8' of tubing, more likely 6' and a max head of 4' but more likely 3'. Not exactly sure yet because I havent made the stand and the chiller may be on a upper shelf.
I was thinking an externally mounted Quiet One 3000 (about 600gph at 4') and figure it'll be about 300gph once run thru the chiller. I'm really not sure if that will be enough flow for the tank but I dont need the flow of a reef tank.
Any suggestions or experience with pump sizes running through these nano chillers? Thanks.
