What pump should I use?

I just purchased a 180gallon aquarium with dual overflows. I'm going to be using a glass sump so instead of drilling new holes I'm looking to use internal pumps. I was thinking about using a single MAG12 with a oceansmotions 2 way, to alternate the flow. Does anyone have any other recommendations or do you think this would be powerful enough?

You will want in the range of 900-1800 gph circulation after head loss. A mag 12 will work just fine.

I prefer ehiem pumps for internal but mags are also good.

For the Eheim it looks like it would have to be the 1262 but that is rated at 900gph. Where the mag 12 is rated at 1200gph. Why do you prefer the eheim just built better or quieter?

Yes, Eheims are quieter, more reliable, and also flow better than Mags. A 1262 would not be all that far behind a Mag12. Definitely more flow than a Mag9.
