What pump to get?

Hi all

My friend is building a tank he is going to have his sump in the basement. The tank is a 58 gallon with a 40b for a sump, so form the sump to the tank is 7 ft up straight shot. So what internal pump will work for this?

I went with Sump in basement setup and I`ll be using Reeflo Hammerhead and MAG 24.
For his setup I would go with MAG18 1060G at 7' and 860G at around 10'-11' adding horizontal 3' to4'.

58 gallons and sump in the basement. Sounds like a lot of effort for such a small tank. Holes in the floor for a tank less than like 200 gallons is bananas.

Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante

I think that's irrelevant to this thread (your opinion, that is). If I want to plumb a 220G sump to my 3G pico, and I made a thread of whether not people thought I cared about what they thought about the idea, then I guess your opinion would matter...

Peter, I have a friend selling a mag18 so I can ask what his price was. Since the possible noise isn't an issue upstairs, a mag would be fine. I'll check other options tomorrow :)
