What pumps - 125g SPS Tank?

Ok, so I am trying to figure out which pumps to run on my acrylic 5' 125g SPS reef. I am looking for main return and closed loop pumps. Most likely, I will be running a 100g Rubbermaid stock tank as the sump and a 50 gal fuge. The main return will need to feed the fuge...slow flow and gravity feed back to sump and supply water to the main tank.

Thanks for any help.

I have 2 Darts on closed loops on my 180 and like them. Ampmaster pumps are just as good, if not better and use less power.

IWAKI - they are quiet and reliable. For 125 G I ran a 30 rxt and I now run it on my 180G.

Gen-X pumps are great for the money but they are LOUD! So if noise isin't an issue then that might be a good choice. I am running a -40 Gen-X which is in my basement and it pumps up about 12 feet with tons of pressure.

Check out the panworld pumps for your return. Similar to iwaki but lessexpensive. I run one on my tank and love it. It is quiet.

I also have used the gen x pump. Good pump but was alittle too loud for the tank as it is next to the living room.

Be careful... I have a Panworld 100px-x on a closed loop, and it cavitates like mad. I have to throttle it back about 40%. And what's worse is Im stuck with it. I've tried contacting the manufacturer over and over but nobody ever returns my attempts. And no, its not cavitating due to my setup... the pump intake is literally attached to the bulkhead! A lemon is one thing, but bad support is worse.

Well the mfg of that pump is in China, so I doubt you are contacting them, probably just a US supplier. What color is your PanWorld?
