What pumps work on UPS's

I am upgrading to an 180 gallon tank. and i would like to get pumps that can run on a square wave. and actually be run by an
unintruptible power supply if the power were to go out. I tried it once on my 46 but my pumps wouldn't work. if there isn't any,
is there any ups's that produce a sign wave that will work?

I don't know of any. I think a better opton is a generator. I bought a little honda that is super quiet and efficient that runs my whole system with no trouble. It is was not cheap but in the long run its worth it.

If you can't go that way you can buy several battery operated powerheads that will keep water circulating until power is restored.
