What RO/DI units do you SPS keepers use?

I know this is kind of an odd ball question for this forum, but I have always had a lot of envy towards a lot of tanks of this forum. Since your tanks speak for themselves, you must have a great unit to initially give you that great water quality.

So, I want to know what RO/DI unit you are using?

How long do you let your filters go before changing them... below 10 on your TDS meter?

I use Kents RO/DI Maxima 75 gpd unit. I usually change my filters every 6 mos. Or when I get a TDS reading over 1.

I'm using the OCEAN REEF + 1 FIVE STAGE 75 GPD RO/DI from The Filter Guys, they are also RC sponsors. Works great!

Spectrapure MAXCAP 5 stage. Change pre filters every 6 mos. Maxcap cartridge roughly every 900 gallons. Haven't yet had to change the final Silica buster DI.

I also use the ocean reef + 1 from the filter guyz. I am extremely happy with this RO/DI unit and the customer service is great. They always ship extremely fast and answer emails within 24 hours. The units are very well built and very easy to set up and use. I just changed the filters on mine a few weeks ago and it was a breeze.

Typhoon III. 2 years and counting, makes 0 tds water, all I've done is change the filters. Almost time to replace the DI resin.

Me too, but I tend to wait until I start seeing cyano on my sandbed before I change out the filters. I put up with a little nuisance but at least I know the filters are completely spent and the cyano usually disappears after the next water change or so.

SpectraPure 2000, 5-stage, 90 gpd. I now change cartridges at anything above 1ppm TDS as even 6 ppm resulted in an algal bloom a couple years ago.

Kent RODI Maxima 60gpd, with an additional 60gpd RO membrane piggyback kit, Ive used it for at least a year and my TDS is still 0ppm.
However I have changed my filters out once... just not the RO mem's.
I love my unit.
