I use oceanic, I love but I have a bucket of brightwell salt I got real cheap so I will give that a try when I run out of oceanic

I use Red Sea Coral Pro and have had excellent results. Primary reason being low alk as I'm doing ULNS. I know Reef Crystals is going to be the biggest winner on this poll as it is cheap and readily available but I used to use it and my corals hated the 12-13 alk. Red sea is just a bit more but worth every penny.

I know alot of sps reefers and they all, like my self use res sea pro...

The stuff can not be beat:D

Tropic Marin Pro is what i use now after 2 bags of bad Sea Chem, & 3 bad bags of RC... My colors look a million times better. I was hesitant on the price but i had a Gift Card, now im hooked. i wanted to try Red Sea Pro also as i heard wonderful things about them.

Any body hear of Seachens new salt called Salinity? It gona have all paramaters labeled on each bucket! Its supposed to mix at 1.025 and if you mix your salt lighter then buckets last longer! Look for it soon!

With the parameters listed on the first page and the price of $39.99 per bucket, why don't more people don't use Coralife?

i use coralife, the store i work at part time uses it, most of the reefers i know use it or tropic marin pro. it is the salt i recommend.

I use natural saltwater provided by Scripps institue of oceanography. The Ca and Mg are a bit low,350 and 1200, but alk is ok at 8.5. After adjusting you still can't beat free water for a 180g and the corals seem to like it more than mix(oceanic), just need to be carefull when it rains bc of run off.

Ive used rc, io, kent, and rscp, rscp has allways worked best, just add a little buffer to it, my corals have allways looked their best when using rscp, and rscp is allways consistent, dont event think ive heard anybody say they have ever had a bad batch of it.

I use tropic marin pro reef. Im thinking of switching over to the regular tropic marin. I heard that the pro reef has less cal and mag for people who use cal. reactors. Is this true? Because I see here that the levels on pro reef are higher than the regular.

I started out using Coralife Scientific Grade, it was a good salt, had good parameters and mixed well. It was hard to source so I changed to Red Sea salt. It always had low alk, Ca and mag, would never completely mix. I have now changed over to Tropic Marin Pro, it mixes very well and the parameters seem to be fine. I have not tested a freshly mixed batch though yet, but I don't need to adjust my parameters in the display as much as I used to. I'm mixing up a new lot for a water change today, so will test params on this lot.

Cheers,
Dave.

I use Crystal Sea Marinemix Bio-Assay, and look to be the only one so far in this poll. I've seen the stats on this salt listed before on here, and I can tell you fist hand those results are bogus. I've never checked the CA below 400, but the other two are pretty much spot on.

I use it because it is made local to where I live, the price is right, and my corals tell me they love me for it.
:)

I use it as well. Only been doing water changes for 2 weeks but can tell a difference.:bounce2:

Ive been using RC but sick of some brown film. Also the last batch I mixed up I had sitting with a power head for maybe 4 days or so and it got a slime on top, between that and the elevated levels Im gonna try red sea coral pro and see how that works out as its levels are exactly where I keep mine with automatic dosing. I dont need extra alk and cal.
