What sealant is good to use?

Hey everyone,

I'm in the process of building a ten gallon sump. I'm no artist, but my sketch is the only picture in my gallery.

I've finished grinding the three pieces of poly to make the bubble trap. Now what can I use to seal them to the glass? Will the GE 'Silicone II' work OK?

Hey man,

You wanna use the Silicone I, I believe the Silicone II has a mold inhibitor. I bought the silicone II at first but someone told me that it was no good. The silicone I works good.

silicone I for glass and WELD-ON for plastic

You can use the silicone posted in that link, but it is twice the cost of silicone I, if you buy it from lowes or home depot.

I found the Silicone I at WalMart for $3.38

Essentially, for Glass, any that doesn't have Mold Inhibitors which are typically found in the "Kitchen and Bath" tubes.
