What should I do (pest problem)

For the last 3 months my LPS have been doing terrible, while my sps flourish, spend much time chasing parameters, water changes ect. By chance I found late one night a oenone worm munching an acan. I removed him, along with a few others after finding a burrow or too.

Mind you this is only half the worm
I let this rock sit out for 2 days, then see this crawl out.

The first worm I removed.
Now after 2 days in air, one day in RODI + vinegar, and another day in RODI I still seem to have a worm problem coming from this rock. I really like this rock and have had it for 4 years, but I am at the point of almost giving up, as its hard to watch your favorite acans decline slowly. I am debating on a full restart, remove all live rock, get dry rock and replace the sand bed. But then the cycle issue becomes an problem. The tank is small, (40b) and I have some rock in the sump (10lbs). Any ideas on what to do or how to proceed?

TIA

I have seen great success with baiting them out using a dark colored bottle, some fish food, and some unused pantyhose.

Put the food in the pantyhose. Shove said hose in bottle. Place the bottle near your rock work over night and wait for the party to get started. In the morning pull the bottle out and empty the nights spoils. Keep rebaiting the trap every night until they are gone.
