What should I run in my reactor?

I just emptied my TLF 550 reactor. I'm out of GFO.

So, now the question becomes what to put back in it. Looking to lower both phosphates and nitrates.

Hope and prayers... Jk. Gfo to lower phosphates and I'd carbon dose to lower nitrates.

I'm not a fan of the various forms of carbon dosing due to negative effects on corals and inverts over time. I'd stick with GFO for phosphate as it just works so well. For nitrate, I've tried just about everything and thing a plain old fashioned fuge with macros works best and provides excellent biodiversity and nutrition to your tank. Just size it large enough to be effective.

I would just buy more GFO. Best way to lower phosphates. What other options were you considering?
