What should my light schedule be?

I have a 75 gallon tank (48"W X18"T) with fish, crabs, and building up my lps's. I have a 48" T-5 Coralife fixture with two actinics and two whites 12k, and 4 LED Moonlights. From what I understand, you should run your actinics an hour before and an hour after you power up your main lights. How long should I have my main T-5's on? Is there any method or reason for leaving my LED Moonlights on all night?

I also recently aquired a 28 gallon Nano Cube Intermediate with LED 27w and 4 1/2w LED moonlights (barely puts out any light). I am in the process of cycling it, and will be putting in a few fish and load it up with LPS's as well (over time of course). What schedule should I have these lights on??? There is no build up with the LED's (they are non-dimmable) and are either On or Off.

Any advice is much appreciated.....I will hang up and listen now!

LPS you should be fine with what you have.

And yea, blues on 1-2 hours before whites, run blues + whites 8 hours, then back to blues only for 1-2 hours. 10-12 hours total.

And the moonlight LEDS are for looks only. I run mine a few hours before I go to bed simply because it looks cool, and thats it lol

It's basically up to you, I run my actinics 14 hours & my MH's for 12 hours. I would set it up so that you get optimum viewing time when you are at home. I would guess a minimum of 6-8 hours for main lighting.

My lights cut on at 8am and cuts off at 10 my moon lights are on 24/7 just to save space on my reefkeeper. My fuge cuts on at 10-8.
