What single ended bulb for growth and color?

Changing out my 250W Reeflux Single Ended bulbs. What are most people using today? XM, Radium, Reeflux, Phoenix or something else?

I don't know what most people do and I definitely wouldn't want to copy the masses.

Ballast affects bulb choice (so does system / livestock choices) etc.
Use the Radium 250 for example here. This lamp should not be run on anything except the HQI ballast designed for it IMO.

Thanks Gary, I knew I was leaving out what ballasts and coral hoping to generate the questions.

Growing SPS with Coralview ballasts. Had been running the Reeflux 12K but thought that times had changed as they always do in this hobby. Any recommendations with these ballasts?

I've never run any 250w SE halides on Coralview ballasts.

My lighting preference is much whiter (lower kelvin) than most other reefkeepers.

I'm very happy with my 14k 250 de.
I'm have also used 20k radiums and didn't get good growth at all.

I like Phoenix 14k SE or DE great bulb. I have ran 150w on magnetic ballasts and 250w on Icecap electronic ballasts with no problems. Get blue color and growth from sps.
