What size bulkheads/hole for versatility ?

Hey guys , gettting my sump built in the next few days and I was thinking about the bulkhead for my external pump .... but then I got to thinking about my drains as well. I wasn't going to put bulkheads in the sump and just let the pipes go straight through the holes , but then got to thinking about future setups/or selling in future.

I'm trying to select a size that will allow me to run 2 different pipe sizes based off bulkhead size .... for example - 45mm hole fits 1" abs bulkhead OR 3/4" SCH 80 bulkhead.

I want to do this for the bulkheads holding drains into the sump as well if I can. I'm doing (3) 1" drains .... BUT , if I were to get the holes to fit 1" SCH 80 bulkheads, does that mean they would fit 1 1/4" ABS bulkheads?

I guess if I really wanted to cover all my bases for future upgrades I could do 1 1/2" holes in the sump and use reducers , but probably won't look right ?

This might be a little confusing . Basically buying a nice sump and if I upgrade in the future and use bigger drains, would like to try to incorporate that into the planning, to make it versatile.

Thanks

That's kinda what I was thinking.... I've never actually used a bushing... There made to slip into fittings right, not the actual pipe.... so bushing would slip into bulkhead and could 1" pipe into a 1 1/2" bulkhead ?

Then I'm thinking about doing Schedule 80 Bulkheads for cleaner look, but Sch 40 plumbing ... I've done sch 40 pipe to sch 80 fittings, so I assume there won't be a problem ?

Something like this - Make holes for 1 1/2" Sch 80 Bulkhead.... Use 1 1/2" sch 80 OR sch 40 bushing ( 1 1/2 - 1 ) then 1" pipe into the bushing.

But either bushing whether schedule 80 or 40 would work right? Will schedule 40 bushing fit sch 80 parts/bulkheads?
