What size tank for a naso and a vlamingii?

So if you had to pick one.Which one it be the naso or the orange shoulder?

I think Untamed made a good point. Bioload wise you can probably handle both fish, but they both have potential to get pretty large. I was considering putting a naso in my 7x3 360g... but I just don't think it'll work out well once it gets large. I have really sparse and open rock work that's not going to lend itself to sheltering places for a 15-18 inch fish. On the other hand if I had plenty of large caves I'd probably go for it (both), especially if I had a 10' tank!

I love my vlamingi tang. Great fish. He has gone from maybe 1" to maybe 18"-20" in just over 2 years. I think his growth rate has slowed in the past few months.

Meanwhile, I have a N. elegans that started at 3"-4" and is only 8"-9" after 3 years.

Finally, I have N. unicornis whos growth rate is about the same as the vlamingi.
