If I read your post right your tank is 3 feet long? If so, I'm sorry to say that it really wouldn't be appropriate for tangs or lyretails.

When & what are you upgrading to?

angel *fish why do you think i should not have a tang or anthias in a 3 foof long tank ,,my tank is about 95 to 100 gallons ,,if you can give me the corect info of why i should not ,,other then just your opinion then i will listen ,,but when i have do a serch on google bud on steven lowes when you get on cnn then i will listen to you ,,but in all fiarness everyone is allowed ther own opinion ,,

sm fragman...

his suggestion is correct because its not about the gallons of the tank... its about swimming space.. Tangs need lots of straight swimming space and in a tank 3x2x2 it will need to do a lot of turning, etc... it just wont be a happy fish which could lead to health problems...

I agree with Angelfish..And your response to their post was a little uncalled for..

Its not really a matter of opinion, Tangs do best in a 6' tank..Your tank is too small. Anthias also need large systems.

like i said that is your opinion and not fact is i have guys that are pioniers in the hobbie telling me it is ok then it is ok copp has told me try a tommi tang or a yellow tang my bud steve lowes has told me that the same or i could go wiht the powder blue or brown ,,pluss it is not like i started in this hobbie yetserday either ,,google steve lowes and then you will see where i get all my info and most of my coral for that matter from ,,this hobbie is filled wiht opinions ,,i did not ask for any coment on my selection of tangs in this thred it was about small fish to add to my tank ,,so lets keep it at that ,,,

A trio of smaller anthias species (ie bartlett) would be fine in that size tank, especially, if I read your post correctly, there are no other fish in there. My concern, however, is that you mention you don't have a good skimmer? Is this correct? This would bother me more for the anthias than the physical dimensions of your tank. IMO/E anthias require a lot of food, and therefore water quality can quickly deteriorate without propper skimming, W/C, etc. Save up for the better skimmer, buy it, then consider the anthias. Again, just my opinion based on experience.
