Jewett, I won't think a temp of 82Ã"šÃ‚º would have that much impact of your snails unless oxygen levels were extremely critical in your tank. Except for some far northern creatures, temps close to 90Ã"šÃ‚° should not prove fatal. That type of temperature is fairly common in the tropics and is often exceeded in shallow reef areas, often by quite a bit.

Just kidding, Read many of your threads, thanks for commenting.. I wasn't sure about the turbos.. I read they liked cooler water and it was about the only thing my tank didn't meat.. I slow drip acclimated each turbo. The tank has "PLENTY" of food for them.. They each lived about 2 weeks.. Then stoped moving and died a few days later. My next shot will be buying my stock from a differnt LFS..
