What test kit for Coppersafe?

Is there a more accurate test kit for Coppersafe, than the API Copper test kit?
Or I should say, what other test kits are there that can be used with Coppersafe?

Is API not working for you? I use it all the time with Coppersafe, very easy to read and pretty accurate.

you could try Salifert or the Seachem one.

I looked at both at my lfs and neither had values that went over 1.0ppm.

Coppersafe is chelated copper and requires 1.5ppm to 2.0ppm to be effective.

Hach makes a copper test kit, but at $76 it's not in my budget.

API is what I was told by someone who uses coppersafe and has been continuously for 6 months now. I was advised to look straight down the vial to get a accurate reading?

yeah, that's what you have to do.
I just wish that there was a affordable one that has values between the 1.0 ppm and 2.0 ppm points.

I agree. I have the kit and coppersafe but my go to is Chloroquine Phosphate... can't test for that though.

I normally use CP, but was warned that leopard wrasses don't do well with it.

So after 2 rounds of prazipro and still a occasional scratching, copper treatment.
