Since I will soon be retiring the clippers for a good long while, I thought it'd be fun to have another giveaway contest!
This year's prize is a 1" frag of the original Aquascene Icefire Echinata. Worth at least 50 bucks.

This time there are rules though ;-).
1. I cannot afford to spend 100-something dollars to ship a frag to the other side of the country, so the contest is limited to PA residents ( I travel a lot, so bringing a frag to someone isn't an issue)
2. In order to be eligible, you must make a post saying something nice about another member!

The contest will run for one week starting today!

#1 Please pick me I need to stock my tank. Dan is also one of the nicest dudes in all of the reefing community and also a good bud!

What a great contest! Shame I'm over here in CT. To the OP that is really generous of you.

Happy holidays from CT!!!

sent from never never land...

I'm in, but not for me. If I get picked, the frag has to go to Rogersb. He hooked me up with some frags to get me started.

I'm looking forward to when I can frag stuff for other people.

Ok so if I'm not allowed to say something nice about you... I've met some great people through this club and could say nice things about all of them. But without Penn State's tank and the marine science society, I'd have never met Sanjay. He help me get set up, taught me a lot and has given me a lot over the years.

rogersb has to be the nicest guy Ive ever met. Hes helped me alot and offered me lots of frags.

That insanefishguy, hes kind of a nice guy too. lol

I enjoy swapping info and coral with most if u guys. I don't need this one as I have it already so I hope it goes to a worthy tank, lol. Atta boy Tony!

Kyle (ParanoidObseshn) is a great dude. I don't know how many emails have been sent between the two of us talking about blastos and zoas. Easy guy to get along with and compare notes. Glad he moved to about 20 minutes from me and I can see his tank.

And thanks to the guys above, I wouldn't have that view of the hobby if it weren't for Joe helping me from my get-go. Just trying to keep paying it forward.

Tony this is very kind of you. I also have meet some really great people in this hobby. and could say nice things about most of them lol but the guy who has helped me out more than anyone and I've watch help out so many others sometimes to the extent of costing himself money would be Brent. He has given so much to others expecting nothing in return. I know you guys have your differences. but he honestly has been a friend to so many. So there's my nice thing lol

Lol you speak as if you're expecting me to get angry with you for who you picked. All I said was say something nice about someone. I could care less who just as long as it's not me cuz that's cheating :-P.

Rogersb (brad) is a good guy. He helped me out when I was getting started and pointed me to this forum. Still trying to return the favor.

I guess if I'd have to pick one person to say something nice about it'd have to be insanefishguy. Of all the people who have traded "freely" with me Joe tops the list. I won't mention any other names for fear of leaving somebody out because he's certainly not the only one (by far).

One person....hmm thats tough everyone I have met either in person or through here has been fantastic. I have been given corals, advice and best of all reef friends. Everyone has been great. And as soon as I am able I will be paying it foward to as many new and old reefers as I can, because I have found thats what this hobby is about! So for picking one I would say 68551,(user name) has been fantastic set me up with a ton of great stuff and calls everynow and then to see how its all doing and to give me advice!

Well as many have said before me, I have met plenty of nice people in our widespread group. But Joe.H (insanefishguy) has not only helped me through out the last couple years that I have known him, we have become really good friends.
We have spent countless hours in each others basements constructing various types of fish and coral apparatuses. Lol

Great idea for a giveaway Tony!
