What the **** is it? It wasn't there at night that's for sure. Water parameters are perfect, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate, ph 8.2, temp 78-79.
I had it once a fewmonths back and couldnt take a picture. It scraped off and looked like a lifeless worm that wasn't moving.

Honestly, i thought it was a worm of some sort I was pretty grossed out. I knew I wasn't trippin when i saw a baby snail on the glass. It was about 1mm, I thought i was imagining it. lol (few months back)

Do I just leave it ...or scrap it off? If i do a water change and it drops the water level, are the eggs going to die?

I'd rather they hatch though, free snails. :)

not too many hatch in captivity, just leave it, the crabs and fish will take care of it for you.

another reason to keep a refugiem free of omnivores, having snails that will lay eggs have a safe place for their young to mature and become useful parts of your tank. If they're in the tank they are doomed anyways.

very common for ceriths to lay eggs. i'd throw a couple down in your fuge like others have said and let em breed away without the threat of predation
