Ok with all th equipment that needs plugging in what are some options.
I'm running two surge protectors with 6 plugs.

How about some pics of your electrical setups

thanks

I don't have a picture, but what we did with all our cords to tidy them up was first mount our three power bar/timers to the wall like so:

[o : : : : ]
[o : : : : ] =wires here= (Tank sits to the right of the power bars & ballast)
[o : : : : ]

-----------
MH Ballast (on the floor)
-----------

Any cords that are too long are wrapped & tied, and everything running from the power bars is tucked as neatly as possible behind the tank. Nothing fancy, but the power bars being mounted on the wall away from the tank and the wires running from the bars to the floor and then up to the equipment means that any water that might potentially run down a wire will never make it into the electrical outlets. The power bars are visible, but we like it that way so we can see the timers and easily access the plugs if we need to disconnect something.

my dad has the skills and made me a couple of boxes built just how I need them to be.

individual switches for every socket and timers all in one tidy little box wired into the house main on a 30 amp breaker

sorry, cant help you build it....but you wanted to see pics :)The second pic is the second one for my other system...he added indicator lights to each toggle

Ooooh, that's pretty. flyyyguy, I think you may have just shown me what I'd like for Christmas! :D

BucNtears - if you like what flyyyguy has but don't know how to build boxes like those, you could try a DJ's power centre - you can buy them in music stores and other places where they sell DJ equipment, and they're often available on eBay as well. Lots of people here use them - you plug equipment into the back, and each plug has its own switch at the front. They're not as faschmancy as flyyyguy's boxes, but they're very tidy and easy to use.
