Ok i talked a litlle bit about this in my other post having to do with my anemone but i didnt want that thread getting to much off the subject...anyway, I have a 30 gallon with a Female, and male maroon clown. they were introduced at the exact same time to the tank. The female attacked the male pretty much right away, his fins are all torn up. She hasent done anything worse then that. I placed the female in a breeder net inside the tank and yesterday ( the day i got them) i let her out for a little bit to see what would happen... the same thing. Then again today i let her out and it was ok at first, but then she continued to chase the male all about the tank, the male just runs in terror and dosent stop and sesure at all... now my percs right away the male stop'd and gave into the female, i new to expect the maroons to be harder but i dont understand why the male isnt giving in? right now the female is in a critter keeper in the tank, a much bigger less hazardous enclosure where she will be able to see the male much more. Should i put her in there or the male? Or should i let them both figure things out and hope for the best? like i said the male dose nothing but try and swim away, I even put a container in there for him to escape to but he didint realize it was there or something. Any suggestions or oppions of what works best would help. And pls let me know if im doing something wrong. TY
