I have a Flame Angel in QT, we've had it for a week, and it won't eat. Now, I've been down this road before with my CB who took 5 weeks to eat anything prepared , but at least she had a whole tank worth of LR to eat off of (that was before we were QTing). Since there is no LR in a QT, the flame doesn't have that option.
I've tried everything I can think of...Formula 2 pellets and frozen, frzn angel forumula cubes, spirulina flakes soaked in garlic & selcon, nori soaked in garlic & selcom. There has even been Formula 1, frz brine, frzn mysis, blood worms to choose from because there's another fish in there with him. I don't see at as a matter of shyness as he does come out to swim, and occasionally seems to peck at the surface of the PVC, but there isn't much growth on them at this point. I've purposely decided not to clean the back glass in the hope that it will accumulate some algae in time that it might like but that's still going to take time.
Any thoughts??
BTW, I know the CB and Flame might fight...we have a back up home for him should that happen.
