in your experience whats best?

i have 5/6 frags - very nice but only grow about 2 new heads per month

what can i do to up it all a little but :bum:

Keep em away from too much water flow. And keep ur water levels in check... That's all I do and mine grow like crazy!!! And good lighting!!

Remember that as the frags get bigger, they have more heads on the outside of the colony and thus, more chances to spread.

Tilt the frags so they can grow up towards the light, and apparently keeping them close together might have(I have observed some but not all exhibits this behavior).

A lot of light and good water quality. The past 6 months, I didn't feed nothing but the food I fed my fish and their growth was excellent. Sometimes I would feed my nuclear greens mysis and they love it

I don't necessarily agree more light is better, however I will add that CONSISTENT water is a must. Which is often hard to find, achieve, and expensive.

Good water quality is a general term, the more consistent the water, the less the stress during WC's, the more they can grow. :)

It doesn't really matter what salt you use, but be consistent with it - your corals with thank you.
