thanks... anyone else?

the tips have more of a blue-ish color to them... my camera isn't the greatest so they show white..

I was told it was an Acropora Simplex, but can't find any info on that... Not sure if there is a subfamily of some sort ?!

I'm new to reef hobbying so I'm still learning the ID's :D

I don't think it's an elegans tho.. Based on google pics I'm finding, that looks more like a sea-fan, whereas this doesn't... But you could be right lol

No it's not a granulosa. I looked at that. Granulosa doesn't have the 'drip' looking branches (flat, or irregular)... The granulosa has cylindrical branches and this doesn't. I was told it was a deepwater acro tho.

I got mine else where but I saw it at neptune aquatics, theres is colored more like yours, they have it on there web page under coral>SPS.
I have mine right under the 250 watt halide about 3/4 up in the tank with a pretty heavy flow, it puts out nice white polyps when I turn off the pumps to feed so I am guessing my flow is a little to much, but it is happy. Hope this helps.
