What type of clowns?

Looks like one of each actually, but might want to check in the clownfish subforum.
 
Regardless of what science says, I still don't believe there to be a real distinct difference between either one. But for the sake of argument, you should count dorsal spines.
 
Those are true percula clowns. I don't see much A. ocellaris here, at all. Of course, that may just be me.. LOL

These are probably tank bred individuals, and with all the selective breeding going on the distinctive characters for wild populations often are not useful for distinguishing them. So I guess the only real way to tell is ask whoever bred the line or do a genetic test. Having said that, the overall shape of the bands reminds me of ocellaris, but again, that might have changed with selective breeding.

Now, as for them being "real" species, in nature they surely are. There are diagnostic morphological, color and genetic characters.
 
Tank bred ocellaris for the one in the front, the one in the back also looks like a tank bred "fancy" ocellaris. I am not 100% on the common name for the one in the back. Also the ID could be wrong. It's just my guess.
