what type of container for RO/DI collection??....

what does everyone use to collect/store their RO/DI water in? i need something with a top.

I use plastic storage tanks that farm and fleet sells. They are a little pricey but well worth the money. They start at 35 gallons and go much larger than that. They have all different shapes and sizes.

I have a 10 gallon rubbermaid Brute mini-trashcan. Found it on Ebay. It's the perfect size and a known product line for safety for what we need. I've had it for almost 4 years now.

In Wisconsin, I buy 5gal containers from a cheese maker for $2.
They are food grade plastic, handle on the top, 2" opening in the front, vent in the back. They are very nice for pouring.

For large storage, I use old aquariums. Checkout Goodwill.

farm and fleet has smaller animal feed buckets that will hold approx 10-15 gals .

I'll second these. I have the 65gal. vertical tanks and there great. They were around $90 each, but worth it if you have a larger tank and need to store a good amount of water.

You already got one, but next time get a Food Grade Plastic 55 gallon drum. They are cheap or free depending on where you go. There's a Hot Pepper place near me that gives 35,55 and 65 Gallon ones away free.
