What type reactors for sps

I have about everything set up for my sps tank except for the reactors. I am not sure which media to go with bio-pellets, or gfo. I plan to run carbon in 1 reactor.
It is a 300g with sro 5000 skimmer, plan to run a kalk stirrer, and carbon.
What should I run in the second reactor? Why?

What types of media are the resellers using?

I ran 1 carbon reactor, 1 GFO reactor. And all my Corals are very happy.

i run a bio pellet reactor and brs high capacity gfo in another my sps have been great. stop using carbon and coral actually look better.

you need to decide what method you want to employ for removing nutritions first.

carbon dosing, or GFO with a fuge.

if carbon dosing, as you said you want to do solid carbon dosing AKA biopellets. so you need a reactor for that. Idea is it will remove po4 and no3 in a balanced way. but not always ! so might need GFO after a while as well [if done correctly, no need for GFO]

or you can set up a fuge, and grow algae there, to take up n and p,. and use GFO to get rid of trace po4 not removed by algae.

decide the methology you feel more comfortable with first.
