While I love the damsels I have now because I'm better at choosing appropriate specimens, I had to vote damsel, since the blue devil in my first reef back in the day would kill everything I added to the tank.

Fishers angelfish, most aggressive fish I have had. Almost killed a royal gramma I had.

Oh geez :facepalm: Sounds like you've had your rounds of quirky fish. I have female spotbreast angel in my 120 now and so far she's been a model citizen, but I know with really any fish, there is some degree of risk involved. Was your wrasse a Halichoeres garnoti?

Yes I believe that's what it was.. ended up 7"+ and was a monster. I'll dig up some pics
