I have a jbj 12g nanocube. I was thinking of getting a Rose anemone and 2 true percs or onyx. Sound good? I know the rose anemone will eventually out grow the 12g.
What would be the best anemone for a 12g?

I would avoid the anemone. In addition to the problem of the physical size of the nem, it's real tough to give an anemone the water quality and stability it needs in such a small tank.
Onyx clowns are just a color variant of A. Percula, not a different species
If you want your clowns to host something, you could try several different types of LPS or Softies. They've probably got just about the same chances of hosting coral as they do an unnatural anemone.
