What would cause my yumas to "jelly"?

Whatever it was it sucked. I did a complete rearranging of the tank and while I was at it I inspected the yuma rock. It had some not so nice looking ones, so I prodded them and the base of the yuma detached VERY easily. The ones that didn't jelly either stayed on the rock firm (like usual) or the peeled off with ease ( I used my finger. It looks like I might make it through with 2 or 3. We'll see in the next few weeks.

PS While I did the rearranging I did a nice big water change and "blasted" the rock with a power in a seperate bucket. Also added a few drops of Lugols to the bucket.

Exactly, those of mine that did not jelly, peeled off or just detached themselves. Even shrooms on another rock detached.
Also lost a 10 year old Yellow Figi Leather and a 10 year old Toadstool. I was able to frag some good areas from the Toadstool, but the Yellow does not frag as well and just disentegrated to nothing. All this was from the initial Brown Jelly on a large mushroom Rock.
Lots of water changes, Carbon and Filtering and the tank seems fine.
Never bothered any LPS, Clams anenomes or other inhabitants...

yeah, we just got a great deal on a rock with about 8 pink yumas on it maybe two weeks ago, i am down to about 5 right now. the ones that arent dying look really good....until they are a blob of brown goop...i dont understand either. should be on unsolved mysteries....
