What would you do with this tank - setup?

If you get a jawfish, make sure you have no openings larger than a pencil...anywhere. they might be as good as octopi at escaping tanks.

Dump it. Kepp your bioload low and feed little if at all and you will have no need for a skimmer. Also, YGPM

Holdorf - I don't see any PMs...?

I'll pull the wheel - thanks for the advice!

also about the jawfish, andrea:

Ooh jumpers. Not cool. I hate covering the tank especially when I saw what it did to my par rating (and that tank is low enough par as it is). Perhaps another pair of clowns will be in order...i adore the black&whites (in the 90) and the kids would LOVE orange ones (in this one).

Jawfish are jumpers, plus they will dig in the substrate kicking up nitrates. Not the best fish for a reef.

I figured what with the low-light and all, softies would be kept to low.

Water changes are your friend here. 10-15% per week should do it. Look into getting an AquaFuge from CPR Aquatic or similar HOB 'fuge.
