What would you do?

Hello all

I need some help deciding which orientation would be best for LEDS. I have a 210g so each section is 24" X 24" X 30". I am confused on if the fixture would be better rectangular or square. My worry is that being 12" square, would I have some coverage issues in between the lights? and If I go the rectangular way, will I have coverage front to back? heres what I'm talking about.

I'm currently running 36 3w's (18 white, 18 blue) in a 72gal bowfront set up as 2 bars- one whites, one blues. They hang from the ceiling, about 4" from the top of the tank. I have 60 degree optics on them without a light hood over them (currently working on it ;) ) and while it looks freaking wonderful, I wish I would have mixed the colors between the bars. I'm not 100% satisfied on the look of the lighting sometimes, specially if the bars happen to be tilted wrong.

Bars make LED wiring much easier, though, since you can wire them in series. I wouldn't really do the square unless you're planning on using a prefabricated heatsink.

These are actually fixtures that I have been looking at. They have 48 -3w bridgelux, epistar or cree leds. I also have 30, 60, 90 degree optic options. My feeling on the square is my coverage should be uniform front to back and side by side. It is going to be a peninsula setup.
