So my ocellaris pair are completely ignoring my sebae, and starting to check out my right side power head as their new home. The problem is that my little yellow clown goby has already moved in. He's getting pretty territorial and chasing them away. My lfs has a ritteri anemone about 10" across right now. Should I go ahead and pick it up for the ocellaris?

How long have you given the clowns to find it?

How long have you been keeping anemones? Ritteris are one (( if not the one )) of the hardest hosting anemones to keep.

I've had the clown for about 5 days now. None of the clown/nem charts say that ocellaris will host sebae though. Is there a decent chance that they will end up liking it? Also, it still won't attach to any rocks. I have about 5-6 good size rocks(7-10") that aren't covered in diatoms. Will it attach if the rock is coated in diatomic algae?

5 days isn't long enough. Could take a couple of months even.

Have you tried putting the anemone on the sandbed? Most Sebae prefer to be there. What color is it?

Right now it's on the sand bed with a circle of three rocks surrounding it. If it's not surrounded it goes right behind the rocks and won't come out. It's a light cream color(not white) long tentacle with purple tips. About 6" wide
